World Stroke Day 2024

World Stroke Day this year will be held on Tuesday 29th October. This year’s campaign encourages and motivates individuals to take active action every day to reduce stroke risk. With physical activity opportunities taking place across the world, the World Stroke Day website is a great resource to share with family, friends and patients.

For Radiologists and Radiology Registrars, we continually strive to improve our awareness and diagnosis of Acute Stroke. CT Perfusion is often a key tool in diagnosing stroke and so we wanted to share with you a free CME presentation, from our most NEURORAD 2024 Imaging conference.

This 50 minute presentation reviews CT in suspected Acute Stroke with emphasis on perfusion looking at top tips and pitfalls for Radiologists and Registrars.

You’ll cover:

-        Digital small vessel occlusions

-        Perfusion Parameters

-        False positive and false negative maps

-        Stroke Mimics

-        Medicolegal cases

Plus you’ll be taken through a range of Head Imaging cases reviewing diagnosis including Basilar artery thrombosis, Anterior Epidural Haematoma, and more.
