International Day of Radiology 2024
Every year of on the 8th of November, imaging professionals from across the medical world celebrate the International Day of Radiology. A joint initiative from the European Society of Radiology, RSNA, and the American College of Radiology, supported by societies including RANZCR, this World Radiography Day encourages radiologists, radiographers, radiological technologists to recognise and promote the essential role that radiology plays in patient diagnosis and treatment.
This year’s International Day of Radiology (IDoR 2024) aims to build greater awareness of the value that radiology contributes to safe patient care by improving public understanding of the vital role radiologists and radiographers play in healthcare.
Through earlier detection, less reliance on surgery, and game-changing treatment outcomes, imaging experts play an invaluable role the world over.
But…..we do make mistakes from time to time. So whilst we celebrate our success on World Radiology Day, we wanted to share with you how to avoid the mistakes made in neuroradiology case reviews, so you can avoid mishaps in your day to day practice.
